Nolan sat in the attic of his house; the attic was pitch black with nothing but a small lantern lighting the room. Shadows danced on the walls surrounding Nolan, he was staring at a small box his mother left behind that was a secret his mother kept for years. Nolan kept hearing whispers of his mother’s voice when she was protecting him from the rain in a raging storm. When he opened it he saw dozens of gold coins. Immediately he went to an auction and in a week, it sold for 120,000$ and he lived comfortably for the rest of his life.

Wind whispers throughout the valley, slamming across the bells and resonating his chambers slowly waking him from his slumber. The sun rises, blinding the lone warrior as he counts his days left in the gallows. Picking up his dimly lit lantern, he heads towards the door as he hears the storm raging in the distance, shadows slowly follow him with a malevolent intention. Light leaks into his room, guards take him away as he carries secrets of past wars, the bell finally rings, marking his execution.

Aubriegh, a strange strange girl. She could control if it could rained or not , the power is super useful but the worst thing about this power was if she accidentally made it have a storm. If it stormed the world would end, and yes I know that sounds dramatic but its true.Its her BIGGEST secret. Aubriegh only told one person, Daisy, her best friend.The only way to cure this power, was to touch a lantern, but Aubriegh didn’t want to end this , I mean who did? And of course she told Daisy this but she whispered it.One day she saw a shadow behind her. It was Daisy. “Its time to say bye bye to this world”…
